THIS GUY IS INSANELY GOOD
I’ve always been inclined towards the idea that education and compassion are the two most important values which are neccessary for self improvement and the development of a harmonious society.
Now I’ve had the oppurtunity to see what happens when majority of people lack both.

Kansuke Yamamoto, “My Thin-Aired Room”, A Series of 4 gelatin silver prints, (1956)
The son of an amateur Pictorialist photographer, Kansuke Yamamoto (Japanese, 1914—1987) developed an interest in both photography and poetry as a teenager. From the beginning, his artistic practice drew inspiration from Surrealism, a movement concerned with the unconscious, chance, and unexpected juxtapositions. An innovative artist who advanced the avant-garde movement in Japan, Yamamoto pioneered a signature style that merged European-inspired Surrealist iconography with distinctly Japanese motifs and concerns.
